THE GOLDEN RULE
"Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men
should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is
the law and the prophets" (Matthew 7:12).
How we treat others is very important to God.
As Christians, are we treating everyone else the same
as we would want to be treated? In your daily
Christian walk do you treat the clerk at the grocery
store with respect? Do you treat the person in front
of you in the car with respect? Are we taking the
initiative in treating others properly before we find
out how they will treat us? Do we set the standard?
Are we kind, fair, and forgiving to others? Are we
loyal and forgiving to our husbands? To our children?
Do we give others the chance to explain before
complain? Is the way we treat others a glory to God,
or would He be ashamed of us?
"Be ye kind one to another,
tender-hearted, loving one another, even as God for
Christ's sake hath forgiven you" (Ephesians 4:32).
Pray and work on your attitude toward others
and be thankful to God when we see ourselves changing.
To God be the glory! Amen.
